 Bavlina, a native of California, discovered her passion for storytelling and artistry after significant life events. Holding a BA in Political Science from California State University of Stanislaus, she further pursued her calling in New York, earning a Masters of Fine Arts degree in Acting from the renowned Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University. Her coaches include: Elizabeth Kemp who coached Bradley Cooper (amongst others), Susan Aston who coached James Gandolfini (amongst others) and Jacqueline Knapp who has coached for over 30 years. All her coaches practice The Method and have been taught by Lee Strasberg himself at The Actors Studio.

As the Founder of The Raving Iris Production company and a member of The LAByrinth Theatre Company’s 2014 Intensive Ensemble, Bavlina has made remarkable strides in the world of film and theatre. Her creative endeavors in film include writing, producing, directing, and starring in the short film I Meant to Tell You, which won an Honorable Mention at the Worlds Short Film Festival. Currently, she is helping the Central Valley Film Project with one of their short films. She is also in pre-production for her Feature Film, Devil's Elbow, and her Short Film, Pretty Bird.

Bavlina has left her mark on the NYC Theatre scene with notable credits in productions such as Da Show, Roger & Vanessa, Rolling With The Punches, You Want Details, and Easter Candy. Her involvement in the Colors of Community Reading Series in New York and other collaborations, reflects her commitment to diverse storytelling.

In educational theatre, Bavlina has showcased her talent in productions like The Donahue Sisters, Danny and The Deep Blue Sea, Jesus Hopped the A Train, Falling, 4.48 Psychosis, The Two Character Play, Hunter Gatherers, and A Lovely Sunday at Creve Coeur. With a rich background in both film and theatre, Bavlina continues to captivate audiences with her multifaceted artistic range and contributions.
